A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at age 3 Wilomina moved to Harrisburg, Mississippi, where she learned to love country living, and to love and ride horses. After living various other places in the South, she attended Northwestern State University (NSU), where she hosted the “Voice of Northwestern” talk show, and received a degree in Broadcast Journalism. She then returned to Louisiana to live and work.
Besides her work in the visual arts, fiction, and poetry, Wilomina has been a rodeo performer and off-track horse racer.
